Hittin the Beach (NJ)

We left EJ's mom's house and headed to the NJ shore where EJ's paternal grandmother lives. This is just the first post of many. We had excellent weather and went to the beach everyday except 1. The 4th of July was rainy thanks to Hurricane Arthur and we missed out on the annual fireworks. Very Sad! Just didn't seem like the 4th without them.

I'd love to say everyone was always perfectly happy on the beach. Truth be told the boys are happy to leave after 2 hrs. I on the other hand prefer to be there as much as possible. I sat on the beach by myself two of the afternoons during rest time and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Aunt Jill and Ralph spent a great deal of time with us. The kid's were thrilled. It was nice getting to know Jill's boyfriend. Both were great with the kids which gave us a break from entertaining ;)

 She loves the beach, the sand and the ocean. She DIDN'T like any of those last summer. Alleluia!
