Happy Helper

She is still underfoot most of the day. Sometimes this drives me batty, but most of the time it's ok with me, thankfully! She wants to help, which will be wonderful someday, but for now it means a lot of redoing and undoing on my part. She is learning (quickly) so I just need to be patient and thankful that she wants to help. The boys could care less. She does their chores if I am not careful. They might have to start sharing their allowance ;)

Highlight of my Weekend

I get so tired of the complaining that often accompanies the boys' chores! One day last week I muttered something like, "I wish I could play video games instead of cook dinner." Well, it did not go unheard, Mason decided he was going to make dinner. He planned the menu and cooked it on Saturday night, with the help of dad ;) We enjoyed hamburgers, onion rings, green beans and ice cream for dessert.
I did not play video games, but I did "play" on the computer ;) And throughly enjoyed myself!
