The Magic of Christmas

This ornament was from EJ's childhood. It connects to the tree lights and runs little skiers around inside. She is fascinated by it, like the boys were at her age :)
I am oh so happy she is with us this Christmas. This time last year we were waiting for our log-in-date and had not yet been matched with our daughter. Now here she is, under my Christmas tree, 1 year later.
I am thankful that our love for her has come quickly and naturally. Our love, however is far from perfect and feels shallow at times. Having Avery has helped me be more amazed at God's ability (nature) to love (all of us) unconditionally. This little one teaches me so many things!
