Out in Public

I am almost certain that people are staring at me b/c I am such a cute pregnant lady. It couldn't possibly be because I am so front heavy that they are waiting to see if I tip over. No, that couldn't be.

Watch out, stand back. This mama is definitely nesting.
The little guy's 12 week leisure vacation is over.
Time to rock and roll. A literal roll would still be greatly appreciated!

Thankfully we hired cleaning people a month ago, so I can focus on more important things. Like sharpening all the pencils, ironing a library book that got water spilled on it, putting winter maternity clothes in the trash, I mean in a box for the basement;)

Today is my mom's birthday. The boys are coming home. Owen lost his second tooth. We have a lot to celebrate!

Dinner last night was delicious. EJ and I had a great time. The baby's car seat is installed. Let's do this!

Can you tell my mind is racing?

Too Quiet

The house is too quiet. Too much time to think. Thinking = worrying. I am mentally trying to prepare for every possible situation. This is not helpful. My prayers are easily diverted into more thinking and more worrying. This is frustrating!

So, in my silent home, I have...
sterilized some bottles
finished all thank you notes
load of laundry
cleaned out the junk drawer (it was barely closing)
made a grocery list

I hope to...
hang a few pictures back up in the baby's room
go to the post office for stamps
eat dinner out with EJ
enjoy one more quiet night

I am thrilled to have a TO DO list again.
I can't say the same for EJ and his list is a little longer.

We had a family filled fun day.

Easter Baskets

After church we had a family photo shoot.

My parents arrived for lunch and then helped EJ take the boys to the Easter on Parade.

Then another egg hunt in our yard.

Then we all sat down to a delicious dinner prepared by my mom and sister and after the kids were in bed we had a great time hanging out. Mom and Dad spent the night and now I am home alone. They left with the boys after lunch and unless the baby comes they won't be home until Wednesday. The house is eerily quiet. The calm before the storm :)

Spring Break

I have no idea how Spring Break is going to work, but for some reason I am still excited. Sadly, I can't really take the boys anywhere with walking involved. Hopefully we will come up with something. Plus my parents have a few things up their sleeves. We thought we'd start the celebration with some giant ice cream cones. They ate after last bit. I am not sure why their single scoops were so big.
