His Timing

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
    the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Psalms 33:11 

My journey to our daughter and her journey to us are both written by the same God. The same God who wrote Joseph's (in Genesis) story and Jesus' story. Nothing is by chance. I am not waiting for her, I am waiting for the Lord to piece our stories together.

I am tempted to guess and second guess his timing. But, then am I really trusting in Him?
He is all knowing, all powerful, almighty.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
    and do not lean on your own understanding. 

 In all your ways acknowledge him,
    and he will make straight your paths.
