PuttnSki

We traveled to Massanutten this weekend and stayed at my parent's mountain house (PuttnSki). EJ's father came with us and we met up with my parents and grandmother. We all had a great and relaxing time. Saturday the dad's and Owen went skiing. The ladies and Mason hung out at the house, went and watched Owen ski, played cards and took naps. The weather was gorgeous. The guys had a great day for skiing. Owen was so tired he took a nap too. Today the guys played a few holes on the golf course (Owen included) Fortunately Mason is too young to fully understand all he was missing.

Owen only knows one trick. Going straight down. No turning or stopping accomplished this session. Maybe next time. Fortunately dad held on to him most of the way.

Pop Pop has arrived

Yesterday EJ's dad came to town for the weekend. The boys were so excited to see him. We haven't seen him since our Thanksgiving trip. I have already put the poor man to work. He did the dishes last night, helped with breakfast and lunch and I left Mason with him this morning for a Dr. appt.

We've decided I will try very hard not to lift Mason the WHOLE weekend. In hopes to give my neck and shoulders a nice rest. I am excited for the extra help.

Snow Buddies

Rockin start to our day

I had Physical Therapy at 7:15 this morning, which means I am out the door by 6:45 and of no use to EJ and the boys. EJ has been a trooper with these solo mornings. This is how I found them this morning upon my arrival home. Keep in mind its only 8:45 in the morning and I have just been beaten to a pulp by my therapist. Well not literally, more like massaged to a pulp, but going back to bed would have been easy to do :) Time to start the day!

We haven't had a music video for awhile. I am sure you all were going through withdrawal.

Quite a Workout

I just came inside after sledding with Owen for almost an hour. We had a blast together (on the same sled). I am tired! One hour equals a lot of walking our hill. It was great exercise. I am sure I'll have matching bruises on each hip b/c for some reason I don't fit in the sled as good as I did when I was a kid...hmm It was WELL worth it. Mason napped the whole time. Which is good b/c he doesn't like being in the snow. I don't blame him, he can't walk and his mittens and fat snow suit keep him from doing anything else fun.

We did go out to the grocery store. Only the streets in our neighborhood are tricky. Still no school tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have some friends over to play. This will get old quickly.
