Armadillos vs Wolverines

Game 5 - Guess the exercises helped.
Owen had a great game.
The boy loves to slide. Even when not necessary.
This may come in handy for T-Ball
(which he claims he is going to try next).
I am sure that has nothing to do with Joshua ;)

Here's your videos, Mim!
Sorry I am such a terrible videographer.

Owen's biggest fan.
Notice how his head is angled.
That is because I was blocking his view to take the picture.
He is actually following the game. How cute it that?

Early Start

Why were we all awoken from our slumber so early this Sat. morning?
Oh, because Owen was up at 6:30 doing his "exercises."
(jumping jacks aren't exactly quiet exercises)
After all, we wouldn't want to be late for our 9:30 soccer game.

Beach Day

Only 2 more school days left before graduation.
And they are taking the days very seriously.
Seriously Fun!
Pools. Slip-n slides. Popsicles. Watermelon.
Thank goodness for sun and warm tempatures.
The other classes at the beginning of the week weren't so lucky.

Yes, he is a ham. This is a new favorite trick.
It makes me laugh every time. I am sure that helps.

Hello Sunshine

It's nice to see you again.
Let's see, you've been hiding for the past 5 days.
Today after naps I took the kids to a park farther from our house. One that we've never gone to before. (EJ wasn't going to be home for dinner and with leftovers in the fridge we had extended playtime). It was pretty cool. Perfect for Mason which isn't always the case.

Okay, perhaps the banana on a stick isn't such a good idea.
No banana on that one, buddy!

On a stick

This morning Owen ate a Huge breakfast.
By huge I mean, an egg sandwich (2 full slices of toast with egg and cheese)
and then requested his all time favorite go to snack -
a peanut butter banana with crunchies on a stick.
This is his snack when he is still hungry and knows I will probably say "no more."
He has figured out that if his suggestion involves fruit I will probably change my mind.
This morning was EJ's first witness to my special concoction. It's not really an original idea, but, if you ever wonder what to do with those annoying crumbs at the end of the cereal box. Just call them "crunchies" and roll them on a peanut butter banana. Oh and don't forget the stick b/c everyone knows food tastes better when its on a stick.
Your probably thinking, she has too much time on her hands or good thing she doesn't have more mouths to feed:)
Probably more important to note: Mason is eating Peanut Butter. Hooray! I didn't quite make it to the 2 yr mark, but good grief. And he is not allergic!

*** the crunchies are dedicated to my precious Nerna who would be so proud to see me use the very last bit. She is WITH ME always!
