1st Little League Game

 

Playing 1st Base

He struck out his 1st time at bat, but he got on base the next 2 times!
And brought a runner home from 3rd.

 They rotate positions. He played catcher too. Oh My!

This is our first Little League experience. Apparently there has been a big jump in playing ability since last year. All the returning parents were quite surprised at the game level. It was enjoyable to watch :)

Fish Face

Apparently Pollen Yellow isn't a good look for Ryan. 

He started Nebulizer treatments today. Fortunately we shouldn't have do to them at night.

Always drama before Holidays ;)

My least favorite color...

"Pollen" Yellow

Certainly it's a crayon color, is it not? Don't they have like 1000 colors by now?

Thankfully I LOVE spring enough to squint past the yellow haze. My eyes and nose may disagree.

Visiting Orphans

The Bible says in James 1:27, Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction…” 

My hubby is going to do just that in Nicaragua very soon. He is going to visit orphans with a team from our church. And my Dad is going too. 

Do I wish I was going in EJ's place? Honestly, not as much as I am delighted that he is going. If we could both go, no question, my bag would be packed ;)

Do I wish I could be a fly on the wall to hear he and my dad try to lead worship songs in Spanish. You betcha!

Will I miss him? Like crazy.

There is no way to fully understand what a person experiences on a trip. Even if they share every detail it's not the same. Upon his re-entry, I pray that I would have insight and understanding that only the LORD can give. That I would have ears to hear. Especially considering there will be 3 other individuals begging for his attention.

Don't worry my mom and sister have got my back while he is gone ;)

Reality

The other day, a friend of mine asked me how I manage to make dinner. She has resorted to doing most of her cooking during nap time or using the crock pot. I told her I just did it and usually something was destroyed (nothing major) in the process. So today, while I was cooking dinner, this was my view, so I had to capture it on film for her. JW this is for you ;)

 Mason is under all those pillows to see if he can "feel" them jump on him.

Of course, most days they just sit nicely and play well together while I make dinner ;)

There are so many cooking challenges on T.V. these days. I have a good idea for a show. How about cooking dinner during the witching hour for 3 hungry boys? Or better yet while wearing a baby sling with a crying baby inside ;)
