End of B Ball

We had our fill of basketball this weekend.
Owen's last basketball practice (friday) and last game (saturday) and award's ceremony (sunday) kept us busy. Pop Pop has been a great sport.
Owen is circled in red. He LOVED Upwards.
Now we can gear up for soccer and t-ball. Spring "training" (in our yard) starts today.
If only it felt like Spring today like it did yesterday.

As They Say

The 3rd time is the charm. I have never had my very own poop and crib story until now. I knew my blog was lacking something. Well not anymore. My 3rd has graciously given me one! I did NOT take any pictures. It actually was much smellier than it was messy.
EJ had just walked in the door. Lucky him :)
It was totally my fault. I left Ryan in his crib a little too long b/c I was making peanut butter brownies (i will not think about similarities) and he was happy. A little too happy I suppose. His diaper leaked out of the top onto the crib sheet and I suppose he played there for awhile because he had it on his hands and face. GROSS!
Now he is bathed and has pjs on.
Is it 6 o'clock yet? Yea EJ is home!

So Ready

Another 3 day trip for EJ this week. I missed him like crazy but at 6 o'clock I am outta here!
I am just a tad excited for this seminar :)

Dribble... Shoot... Score!

Pop Pop arrives today for a four day visit.
I hope he is prepared to shoot hoops for hours on end.
There is no stopping them.
Even the rain yesterday didn't stop them.
The rain let up for about 20 minutes and they were out there.
Tomorrow is Owen's last game.
Next week, I suspect we'll be on to baseball and soccer.
Mason is playing soccer this spring, his first organized sports team.

A Rare Bird

It's March 8th and Mason is still requesting "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" for his song choice at least once a week at bedtime. He calls it the Blue Birds song. You know like "gone away is the bluebird here to stay are the new birds..." It drives Owen bonkers every time he requests it b/c Mason calls it by the wrong name and it's clearly not Christmas anymore.
What can I say? Mason has always been one to march to the beat of his own drum.

Besides how could I resist this face?
