I do still exists ;) Although I am functioning a few fries short of a happy meal right now. To say that I am consumed with thoughts of receiving our LOA is an understatement. Yucky! I wish I could stop my brain waves about it, but that has been unsuccessful. I just discovered the LOA will not come directly to us (first), so now I can stop holding my breath when I hear a truck rumbling in the distance. Of course, my email chime is now more important. So it's actually worse.
This was our church's Lent reading today. I stewed over it at the gym. So good for me as I struggle with the ridiculous conversations I have in my head.
Stir up Your power, O Lord,
and with great might come among us;
and, because we are sorely hindered by our sins,
let Your bountiful grace and mercy speedily help and deliver us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
to whom, with You and the Holy Spirit,
be honor and glory now and forever.
Amen.
Thomas Cranmer, 16th century
I am feeling sorely hindered by my sins, but oh so grateful for his grace.
This week was the 3rd grade performance. Owen hardly talked about it, but they practiced a lot. You should have seen Ryan's excitement when Owen walked on stage. Oh my goodness. I think the whole class noticed him and not because he was loud, just his facial expression and little waves ;) I am sure Owen wanted to crawl under a rock.
He and 2 other buddies were the ONLY 3 kids in the whole 3rd grade NOT wearing PJs. Supposedly it was optional. At least according to Owen. Jury is still out on my feelings about that. I can't say that I blame him for not wanting to wear pjs in front of everyone, but still. Hope this doesn't come back to bit us in the butt with a more serious issue in future.
The show was a perfect 20 minutes ;)

Sadly, EJ missed his debut. He was on a men's retreat this weekend. But my parents and Aunt Lissa were all there :)
