I wish I could say we had a glorious Easter Morning this year, but it was not fun and I'd rather not think about it. It was however a wonderful reminder of how much we need a Savior. I guess that kinda makes it the best Easter ever. Funny, how the Gospel changes everything ;)
EJ was gone and Ryan was VERY sick. I had not expected him to be worse 2 days after his Neb treatments and prescriptions started. I think he actually had RSV. He was miserable. He slept terrible Sat night, refused to eat or drink and insisted on being held ALL day long on Sunday. Fortunately, we spent most of the day in the car. It did make loading the van trickier than normal. He continued to sleep bad the next two nights and naps. By Tuesday, we were seeing glimpses of the Ryan we desperately missed.
He was so sick it didn't even matter that it was his 2nd birthday. Guess he is still 1, right? ;)
No cute Easter outfits for us this year. Or pictures for that matter. We didn't even go to church. I didn't want to leave him at home with my mom b/c he was such a mess. At least EJ didn't miss too much.We pretty much ignored his birthday. That was the original plan when we knew EJ would be traveling. So I guess we should celebrate soon. I am a bit in denial. So far 2 is starting out rough. The only reason I am excited that he is 2 is because now I can do his silhouette to join his brothers on the dining room wall ;)
