Big Strong Brother

So maybe it does pay to have a big brother! Except later in the day it tipped over and he wasn't so happy.

It's finished.

Hooray! They did it. Another major accomplishment for Edward&Edward Inc. Only one bee sting and one band-aid needed. If you look closely you'll see Owen on the porch. He was setting the table for dinner. We were all so excited to sit at our new table and be on the porch again. I think he set it about an hour before it needed to be done. Just so we didn't forget to eat out there.

Extra hugs

Tonight as I was putting Mason to bed he actually let me hold him for extra hugs. Normally he dives out of my arms as soon as I approach the crib. Don't get me wrong, I am so glad he is easy to put to bed. But I often wish I could hold him and sing at least one song. Tonight I sang 2.5 songs before he dived in. What a blessing! Boy is he getting big and heavy. Not the cuddly bundle he once was. It happens so fast!

And if that wasn't enough excitement for the porch... our table was finally delivered correctly. Payment and haggling has yet to occur:)

PopPop has arrived!

Who just came ashore? PopPop! After a 4 day sailing trip with my dad, EJ's father has come for a visit. Yes, our two dads on a boat for 4 days and 3 nights. That's way longer than I could be on a boat with my dad. No offense, dad! Needless to say this weary sailor was welcomed with open arms. It didn't take Mason long to warm up and then he didn't let him out of his sight.

A big project on the house begins tomorrow. I wish it was a fun one, but its not. We found rotting wood around the base of our second story screened in porch. So tomorrow the Fogarty duo are at it again.
