Enjoying the Weather

It was such a beautiful day we had to make the most of it. I picked Owen up from school with a picnic lunch in tow and headed for the park. Both boys have been waking up later b/c of the time change and so Mason's nap is temporarily shifted later too. We took full advantage of our extra time. By the end both boys were sweaty and tired. Just perfect for our quiet times.

Chuck E Cheese

Tonight we had dinner and a headache at Chuck E Cheese. Owen's preschool had their annual fundraiser night. He loves that place and is still puzzled why more of his friends weren't there.
Hmm, I can only imagine :) This is the only thing Mason would do. A little bus with a slide.

He was terrified of all the "moving" rides.

Owen had a blast.

Early birthday gift

PopPop left this morning but not before Owen opened some very early birthday presents.

Thanks for the new Leapster games! Owen loves them.

We traveled to Massanutten this weekend and stayed at my parent's mountain house (PuttnSki). EJ's father came with us and we met up with my parents and grandmother. We all had a great and relaxing time. Saturday the dad's and Owen went skiing. The ladies and Mason hung out at the house, went and watched Owen ski, played cards and took naps. The weather was gorgeous. The guys had a great day for skiing. Owen was so tired he took a nap too. Today the guys played a few holes on the golf course (Owen included) Fortunately Mason is too young to fully understand all he was missing.

Owen only knows one trick. Going straight down. No turning or stopping accomplished this session. Maybe next time. Fortunately dad held on to him most of the way.
